If you are prone to oral herpes, the treatment you have just received mat cause a break out, ask your doctor for a prophylactic treatment such as Valtrex
Do not peel or pick at loose skin or crusting, this will cause severe scarring and discoloration to affected area
If crusting occurs, apply vaseline to affected area until healed
Keep skin well hydrated with appropriate moisturizer
